I always look forward to the Saturday Show of LA Fashion Weekend because I know I’m going to see my dear friend, Actress Kate Linder (The Young and the Restless). Kate looked amazing in cream colored lace dress by Nathanaelle Couture. She happened to arrive the same time as designer Nathanaelle Hottois along with another lovely lady who was wearing a red lace creation by Nathanaelle.
Even though there were a number of events going on around town the lounge was packed with new faces and loyal regulars.
There were also some future fashionistas in the house. These darling girls aspire to be models one day. I think they have what it takes.
Tonight was also a special night for Nathanaelle Hottois. Not only was she opening the show but she was also celebrating her engagement to her longtime partner David Haines. Mikey Koffman congratulated the happy couple from the stage before the presentation began.
I fell in love with Nathanaelle Couture dresses the first time I saw them at LA Fashion Weekend a few seasons back. Nathanaelle’s dresses are sexy and glamorous and she knows how to flatter a woman’s body. Her gowns and ready-to-wear looks all exude a sense of elegance and lace and bold colors are her signature staples.
Designer Aamber Aleyna was adorable on the red carpet and now I know why – she designs clothes with a modern edge and a youthful appeal. Her effortless, ready-to-wear creations would appeal to a number of Fashion Bloggers and fashionistas. Dubbed Lost Paradise, Aamber’s SS14 Collection featured a number of looks inspired by the tropics.
I’ll be honest; if I worked at Nicole Lee I would spend my entire pay check on their products. Nicole Lee makes fashion forward handbags and accessories that feature unique patterns and funky detailing. The company’s design team derives its inspiration from European runways, NY's intense dynamic lifestyle, and LA's casual yet trendy street fashion. I’m sure I wasn’t the only one coveting a few pieces that the models displayed on the runway.
Chloe Evangeline derives her inspiration from her love of travel. Her worldly influences were reflected in her collection, which featured a number of intriguing prints and artistic silhouettes.
Designer Piper Gore’s contemporary collection featured a variety of bold looks and playful bursts of color. Piper gives casual apparel a feminine edge by using the finest comfort-driven fabrics to make her creations.
