Sue Wong FW15 Collection

Back for another season and growing stronger, Art Hearts Fashion held their LAFW Kickoff Party at Station (W Hollywood). The event gave fashion aficionados an opportunity to mingle and chat with the designers.

Betty’s fabulous hair piece caught my attention. She informed me that she creates couture hair designs for What A Betty and they would be worn by the model’s in Isabella Couture’s kidswear showcase.

LAFW SS14: Project LA

I always look forward to the Saturday Show of LA Fashion Weekend because I know I’m going to see my dear friend, Actress Kate Linder (The Young and the Restless). Kate looked amazing in cream colored lace dress by Nathanaelle Couture.  She happened to arrive the same time as designer Nathanaelle Hottois along with another lovely lady who was wearing a red lace creation by Nathanaelle.

LA Fashion Weekend: Women’s Contemporary and Couture Show

Even though I’m always exhausted by the end of Fashion Week I look forward to the final night because I know the party will be going on at Sunset Gower, and Mikey Koffman always saves the best for last. Thankfully, the rain had stopped so we could all enjoy the outdoor lounge area, which was packed.

Anthony Franco SS2012 @ L.A. Fashion Weekend

On Thursday night The Gallery L.A. held a pre- L.A. FashionWeekend kick-off party at Sunset Gower Studios. The event gave us the opportunity to get familiar with one of the shows sponsors – Screen Shop. Screen Shop’s Motto is “See it. Click it. Own it.” Founders, Erika Smith, Kirk Ward, and Greg Coolidge were available to tell us how it worked. Basically, if you see a pair of shoes, article of clothing, a necklace, a guitar, etc…on television or a music video you go to the Screen Shop website and search for that particular show or video. Your search result will tell you who made the piece and what it costs. All you have to do is click and buy. It's a pretty neat concept.
