I was first introduced to Skineez at L.A. Fashion Weekend’s F/W 2012 Emerging Designer showcase. In addition to seeing their fashion show I also had the opportunity to chat with Skineez Founder/CEO, Michelle Moran, and President, Patricia Tostado. On Saturday I was grateful that the rain stopped before the F/W 2012 Emerging Designer Showcase event at LA Fashion Weekend got underway. There were a number of familiar faces in the crowd and also a few new ones.
My favorite part of LA Fashion Week is LA Fashion Weekend. Mikey Koffman has been producing fashion shows for years and everything she does is always on a grand scale. Held at Sunset Gower Studios, L.A. Fashion Weekend serves as a major launching pad for local, national, and international designers and also presents a unique branding opportunity for the most elite products and services.
