LAFW SS14: One Haute Night

The theme for LA Fashion Weekend’s SS14 finale was One Haute Night, and everyone was decked out in their finest. The great thing about fashion shows is that they give you a reason to dress as fancy or as adventurous as you want.

Mikey Koffman went the adventurous route and rocked a killer new hair style.

LA Fashion Weekend 1st Annual Fashion Awards

Due to the numerous competing fashion week events The Gallery LA founder Mikey Koffman decided to change things up for the LA Fashion Weekend Fall/Winter presentations. Instead of three days of runway shows Mikey opted for one fashion showcase and the launch of the first ever LA Fashion Awards show. If you think about it, Los Angeles is home to the Grammys and the Oscars, so why not a Fashion Awards show? Mikey helped start the original LA Fashion Week over 10 years ago, so it makes sense that she would be the one to make a Fashion Awards ceremony happen.

L.A. Fashion Weekend SS 2013 Swimwear

By far my favorite L.A. Fashion Week event is L.A. Fashion Weekend, which is put on by The Gallery LA and held at Sunset Gower Studios. It’s always a great party, with great shows, and lots of familiar faces. Plus, Mikey Koffman has been doing this for years so she always manages to put together an event that is professional and well organized.
