Two Point Oh! LA 5th Annual Picnic

Two Point Oh! LA turned 5 this year and to celebrate Kelsi Smith held the annual picnic at the W Westwood. The classy event featured a gourmet spread from the W’s kitchen and the hotel provided a nice atmosphere for bloggers to catch up with old friends and make new ones. I have to say, Kelsi and her crew really outdid themselves this year.

LAFC SS14 Collections At The Grove

The Los Angeles Fashion Council held it SS14 Runway Shows at the park located in The Grove. Major props go out to Kelsi Smith and her crew for putting together a very well organized event. The park was a great location, the shows were on schedule, the staff was friendly, parking was validated, shoppers at The Grove were able to view the presentations, and instead of paper wrist bands we were given neon friendship bracelets. Fun!

Los Angeles Fashion Council Fall 2013 Collections

Blogger extraordinaire Kelsi Smith started the Los Angeles Fashion Council with the goal of championing underground and emerging designers. As part of this focus Kelsi and her team hosted two days of runway shows in the heart of Downtown L.A.’s Fashion District. Cinema Make-Up School, Manny Castro, and Factory L.A. also lent their talents and support.

Two Point Oh! LA celebrated its fourth birthday and the 7^th season of its Pre Fashion Week Party with a preview of the collections that will be presented at the Los Angeles Fashion Council’s F/W 2013 designer Showcase.

Two Point Oh La! Royal Picnic

One of the perks of being a Two Point Oh La! member is the annual picnic. The Royal Picnic was this year’s theme in honor of the Queen’s jubilee, (TPOLA founder Kelsi Smith is British) and High Tea was on at noon. The picnic table was loaded with goodies ranging from tea sandwiches, scones, tea cakes, and candy and we washed it all down with Diet Pepsi.

Two Point Oh! LA Spring 2012 Pre Fashion Week Party

You know fashion week has arrived when you receive the invite for the Two Point Oh LA! Pre Fashion Week Party. The festive affair returned to Cement Studio because it’s a great location for a party. I always enjoy Two Point Oh! LA events because I get to connect with old friends (Wendy Bendoni and Ami Gan) and make new ones (Ashleigh McGrew and Stephanie Green).  And, there is always a great candy bar courtesy of Stylesmith. Thank you Kelsi Smith for indulging our sweet tooth.

Blogger Flea Market at Space 15 Twenty

Sunday turned out to be a beautiful, sunny day in L.A. Perfect for shopping outdoors and Space 15 Twenty was actually the perfect location for the Two Point Oh! LA Blogger Flea Market.

1st Annual Los Feliz Fashion Fest

The Los Feliz Fashion Fest made its debut at the 18th annual Los Feliz Street Fair. The Los Feliz Street Fair has been on a two-year hiatus, so it was a nice treat to have the Fashion Fest as part of the festivities. Kudos to Kelsi Smith (Stylesmith, Two Point Oh! LA, Dedicated Follower of Fashion) for organizing the Fashion Fest event, which I’m certain will become a part of the Los Feliz Street Fair going forward.

TwoPointOh!LA’s Pre Fashion Week Party

Two Point Oh! LA hosted its 3rd pre-fashion week party at The Falls lounge in Downtown, Los Angeles. Kelsi Smith always does a good job of organizing events for the TwoPointOh!LA members, and I have to say she picked a great place to host this event. I loved the laid-back vibe, the artfully chic décor, and the creative drink menu. The signature drink for the evening was The Stiletto. I was too busy soaking up the ambiance to notice what the bartender was mixing together, but I do know it contained the juice of a freshly squeezed blood orange and champagne. We also tried one of the house’s signature drinks - The Mustang Ranch, which was made with red pepper vodka, fresh organic strawberries, basil, lime juice, and simple syrup. The Falls is located near gallery row so be sure to hit it up if you’re attending Art Walk.

Two Point Oh! LA - First Annual Picnic

Two Point Oh! LA held its first annual picnic at Griffith Park. Hosted by Kelsi Smith (founder of Two Point Oh! LA and Dedicated Follower of Fashion) the event served as a meet ‘n’ greet for L.A.’s fashion, style, and beauty bloggers. Some of those in attendance were Nicole (Her Current Obsession), Shannah (The Student Stylist), Melanie (Wrecked Stellar), Erica (Sweets and Hearts), and Mary Ann (The Contact List)
