Betsey Johnson: 50 Year Retrospective

Art Hearts Fashion has staked its claim in the fashion scene. After just a few seasons the organization has expanded to host shows in Miami, Los Angeles, and New York. And, speaking of New York…Art Hearts honored Betsey Johnson with a 50 year retrospective installation that celebrated the animated designer’s career in the fashion industry.

Sue Wong SS16 at Art Hearts Fashion

Art Hearts Fashion announced its returned to Taglyan with an impressive line-up of runway shows. Veteran designer Sue Wong had the honor of kicking off the four day event with her SS16 Alchemy and Masquerade collection.

The evening began with the presentation of a plaque and proclamation from the California Assembly congratulating Wong for her beautiful SS16 collection and thanking her for showcasing her stunning creations in Los Angeles.

Back for another season and growing stronger, Art Hearts Fashion held their LAFW Kickoff Party at Station (W Hollywood). The event gave fashion aficionados an opportunity to mingle and chat with the designers.

Betty’s fabulous hair piece caught my attention. She informed me that she creates couture hair designs for What A Betty and they would be worn by the model’s in Isabella Couture’s kidswear showcase.

The Art Hearts Fashion two day presentations were held at the elegant Taglyan Complex and featured collections from an array of artistically inspired designers. The event supported a great cause—AIDS Healthcare Foundation—and attendees were urged to text in donations by texting “FIGHTAIDS” to 41444.
