FWLA AW16

FWLA hosted its second Trade Show/Runway Presentation at the historic Union Station in Downtown Los Angeles. The two day event featured informative panels and runway shows and provided designers and brands with the opportunity to build stronger relationships with apparel buyers and West Coast Boutiques.


Panel discussions covered topics from wholesale buying and selling, cosmetic trends and beauty tips, global brand marketing initiatives, and styling, imaging, and trend forecasting. Moods of Norway, Ro and De Noir, Royal Majesty, Minan Wong, Robin’s Jeans, Saltwater Luxe, Romeo + Juliet Couture, Adil Bourabi, Lou Lou, The Valdecio Collection, Naven, Mena Lombard, Lighting Boy, Konus, and Cynthia Rowley were some of the brands that showcased their latest collections on the Runway.

I happened to catch the “Surf and Swim” presentation by leading global lifestyle brand Cynthia Rowley. The featured looks, which included swimsuits, wetsuits, sportswear, and accessories exuded a sense of adventure and a penchant for fun.
