Myself and my fellow Two Point Oh! LA Bloggers were treated to a special private viewing of the Josey Girl collection before the brand made its official debut.
Designed and created by Beth Clarke, the line was inspired by her active lifestyle (she’s a wife and a mother) and her passion for fitness. Having spent time in the world of competitive body building, Beth came up with the idea to create active-wear that could easily transition from the gym to the demands of everyday life. With this in mind, Beth designed a collection of looks that are not only functional but also fashionable. Her fun and flirty clothing celebrates the feminine form with an emphasis on detail (such as cute lacey embellishments and faux leather trim) and flatters all body types.

Josey Girl’s official launch date is the first week of July. However, you can place your pre-orders on the brand’s Facebook page.
Sylvie De Gil (head of Jomsy) orchestrated the presentation, which included performances by Chrystal and Chyna.
Luis Fuentes, the designer behind the casual but chic contemporary label, Seven Times Seven was kind enough to lend out his showroom for the event. We also had the opportunity to preview the line’s expertly tailored looks, which featured a number of sophisticated, timeless pieces and unique, trendy looks that would appeal to a wide variety of women.

ReplyDeleteGreat to see you! Once again, your shoes rocked -- I'm want to do a series of sketches of your shoes some time...
I'd be happy to model my shoes for you Anne. You are so talented. It would be an honor. Hope to see you soon.
