While perusing through the Nicole Lee handbags we couldn’t help but notice an amazing leather jacket by Alexandra Cipriani. Alexandra—a costume/fashion designer from France—is an expert tailor and her leather craftsmanship is stunning. We were both impressed with her work. Alexandra’s avant-garde designs are rock star worthy as they push the limits of self-expression. Ke$ha’s stylist was checking out Alexandra Cipriani’s outfits earlier. Too bad she didn’t select one because it would have been far better than what Ke$ha wore on the white carpet at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards. Nothing against the dress, it just wasn’t right for her body type.

Cino's focus is on affordably chic contemporary clothing. NY based designer Cinthia Menolascino is known for adding a vibrant twist to classic staples. Cino’s high fashion pieces can be layered and mixed, which allows them to easily transform into wardrobe mainstays.
With summer just weeks away celebs and fashionistas will be on the look-out for the hottest swimsuits. Created by Mary Moehring M. Cozabella is a luxury swimwear line that brings a little bit of couture to the beach. Mary uses the finest quality fabrics from Italy and finishes each with hardware embellishments for that extra special touch.
We also got to check out Biatta’s new intimate collection, Bella Noire, which featured printed silks, crinkled chiffon, and stretch lace. The pieces mixed vintage cuts with a rock ‘n’ roll edge. Sexy yet affordable – you gotta love that.
While on my way to the bar (which was hosted by PAMA Pomegranate Liqueur, Perrier, and Hansen’s Natural Soda) I ran into the guys from Natures Mistake – Matt Geiger & Lefty Joe. They are totally cool, and it was great to finally hang out with them since they are usually busy making screen prints on site. (Matt & Lefty are also local so I told them about Rebecca and now we all have plans to hit our favorite haunts soon.) In case you haven’t seen, Natures Mistake makes some awesome screen-print tees that feature zombie “Disney-esque” characters and twisted versions of current events. (Check out the latest “I Survived the Rapture – Great Job!” Tee.) The guys have something exciting in the works so stay tuned for more details.
I have to hand it to Mikey – she always knows how to throw a great party, and her staff is very professional. It’s nice to see that Hollywood Style Haus is repping some great clients.
