Our favorite was TRANSIT LA (of course) because we LOVE shoes. When we walked into the show room it was like we died and gone to Heaven. I wanted to try on every fabulous pair I saw. Lucky for me nothing was for sale because I could have easily walked out with 20 pairs. (Retailers could place orders.) TRANSIT LA features contemporary footwear brands geared toward specialty boutiques. Mtng, Caressa, ES Originals, Bernie Mev, Geox, Holster, Nine West, Erica Giuliani, & Skemo made their debut. New SS 2011 styles by L.A.M.B, DV by Dolce Vita, Report Signature, Kelsi Dagger, Jessica Simpson, Badgley Mischka, Steve Madden, N.Y.L.A., Fergie, and Carlos Santa were also on display.
Of course I was immediately drawn to the L.A.M.B. display. We both really loved the Chloe Moto Platform.
There was a cute little bow platform in the Fergie collection that I adored.
N.Y.L.A. had some super sexy lace platforms and boots that I would kill for.
We were also happy to discover some fabulous accessories for shoes and boots by Erica Giuliani. The company was founded by sisters Patricia and Nadia Macri. They make a variety of fashionable accessories from simple clips to fringe add-ons to more intricate leather and faux fur leg warmers that can be easily applied to all type of shoes and boots; thus, transforming them into a completely new look. It’s a great way to spice up your shoe wardrobe.
