California Market Center, the mission of the Focus Apparel and Accessories Tradeshow is to connect emerging designers and established brands with their own redefinitions of style with boutiques and retailers that are looking for creative, saleable lines. The F2 Runway show was held in conjunction with FOCUS and gave those in attendance a sneak peak at some of the exhibitors SS2011 Collections. Chinese Laundry provided the shoes and accessories. Check out the flower handbags in the slideshows. They are adorable.
Pearl Southern Couture opened the show with a number of colorful pieces that reflected the culture and lifestyle of the Deep South. Playful frocks with off-the-shoulder necklines and tie-dyed sundresses with short hemlines graced the runway. The collection ranged from ultra feminine to demure and each piece was perfect for a warm summer day.
Carilyn Vaile is an internationally known fashion designer who creates ready-to-wear garments that are wrinkle resistant and comfortable. She sent out a number of classic styles were perfect for busy women on the go.
Christian Laurent’s collection featured a number of sleek and sophisticated cocktail dresses and evening gowns - most of which were red carpet worthy.
Dena Burton sent out a number of aesthetically pleasing garments. This beautiful collection featured carefully constructed pieces that were designed for the stylish jet setter who appreciates a classic look with a funky edge. Comprised of linens and silks these clothes will flatter every body type. I really liked the sophisticated pant suit and bow accented mini dress.
