Rent The Runway Valentine’s Day Pop-Up Boutique

RTR is setting up a boutique pop-up shop at the Andaz West Hollywood. Stop by on Saturday, February 11^th and Sunday, February 12^th from noon to 7 p.m. and Monday, February 13^th from 2 to 8 p.m. and try on designer dresses from Shoshanna, Nanette Lepore, Milly, Nicole Miller, and more. If you find one you like you will also receive a free Lancôme make-up touch up with your rental. You can purchase tickets for this fashionable event at Gilt City for $10 (which can also be used as a $20 credit towards your rental) and while you’re there you can also purchase a $100 online credit for $60 because you know there will be another special event in your future. We were quite excited when we found out that Rent The Runway was having a clearance sale! I’ve often wondered if it was possible to buy a dress from Rent The Runway and the answer is: yes! USC Fashion Industry Association’s 7th Annual Fashion Show: Part 2

After the intermission it was time for the show to continue. The first presentation of the second half was by Kathleen Coltman, who is also co-president of FIA. This was Kathleen’s third year – she presented a jewelry line in 2009 and lingerie in 2010. Kathleen further displayed her talents by showing a bridal collection that veered from the norm. The gowns featured embellishments such a burlap and black tulle.
