Two Point Oh! LA: Blogger Flea Market

This Sunday, January 29^th, Two Point Oh! LA will be hosting a Blogger Flea Market at Space 15Twenty. Come down and enjoy snacks fromPop Chips and I Heart Pies and sip on Vitamin Water while shopping from select Bloggers' closets. The event will also feature mini mani’s from Pop Beauty and an exclusive sample sale from L.A. Fashion Council designers including Jen Awad, Alana Hale, and Bryan Hearns.  Space 15Twenty is located at 1520 North Cahuenga Blvd. Hollywood. The Flea Market runs from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

1st Annual Los Feliz Fashion Fest

The Los Feliz Fashion Fest made its debut at the 18th annual Los Feliz Street Fair. The Los Feliz Street Fair has been on a two-year hiatus, so it was a nice treat to have the Fashion Fest as part of the festivities. Kudos to Kelsi Smith (Stylesmith, Two Point Oh! LA, Dedicated Follower of Fashion) for organizing the Fashion Fest event, which I’m certain will become a part of the Los Feliz Street Fair going forward.

2011 Grammy Style Studio - Part 1

Having covered music for years and eventually branching out into fashion it was a huge thrill to be invited to visit the Grammy Style Studio. It was great to have the opportunity to meet the designers in person and view their clothing, jewelry, and accessories up close. Hosted by The Recording Academy and Fashion Los Angeles the event was held in downtown L.A. on the 51st floor, which provided a spectacular view of the city. Guests were treated to appetizers courtesy of The One Group. There was an open bar and premium sake samples from Jokigen. Jokigen sake was created by Shoichi Sato, a 5th generation toji, and is brewed at Sakata Brewery. The company even produces sparkling sake – Japan’s version of champagne.
