Hosted by ParkerWhitaker Productions the Day to Night Womenswear event took place at the W Hotel Hollywood. The fashionable affair raised awareness for Dress For Success – an organization that promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support, and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

Blogger Charity Flea Market

It’s hard to resist a good bargain. Even harder when your purchase of said bargain benefits charity as well as your wardrobe. This Sunday (August 18^th) you can enjoy the best of both worlds at the Blogger Charity Flea Market. Three L.A. Fashion Bloggers (Sydne Summer, An Dyer, and Sheryl Luke) will be selling new or gently used clothing, shoes, accessories, and unused beauty products with 100% of the proceeds going to NKLA, The Farley Project, and Dress For Success. Most items will be priced from $5 - $50 and there will also be a $1 bin. EcoStiletto's Two-Year Anniversary Party

When we heard that EcoStiletto was holding its two-year anniversary party at Rolling Greens Nursery we were thrilled. We fell in love with the place the first time we were there, so we were happy for an excuse to return. The green event also served to raise awareness on how to live a more eco-friendly lifestyle. Yes, it’s possible to be eco-friendly and fashionable. Guests were asked to donate a work-ready purse to Dress for Success, in order to support their new L.A. headquarters, and in return they were treated to mini eco-makeovers courtesy of Jane Iredale Cosmetics and eyebrow threading by Marco Ochoa of Eco Brow.
