Punk Exhibition At Resurrection Vintage NY



Resurrection New York is celebrating the opening of Punk: Chaos to Couture at The Costume Institute at The Metropolitan Museum of Art with a special in-store exhibition of historical punk clothing and ephemera. The special exhibit will kick off on Thursday May 2nd with an opening celebration from 2 – 7 p.m.  The in-store exhibit, titled What Are You Looking At, will run through May 8th and will feature designs by Vivienne Westwood & Malcolm McLaren, Boy London, BodyMap, Stephen Sprouse, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Zandra Rhodes and clothing from Sid Vicious, Johnny Thunders, Howie Pyro, Helen Wellington Lloyd, Gaye Advert, Pete Burns, and more. A collection of rare Punk tees, one-of-a-kind handmade accessories, and punk literature will also be available. Resurrection’s collection of Punk memorabilia has not been publicly exhibited since its last showing at Visionaire Gallery in 2000, so you won’t want to miss this event.
