Collection at Icis Closing Party

The Collection at Icis held its closing party this past Saturday at Icis Living in Glendale. Designers from Bagstil, Tears of Bleu Denim, KBird Jewelry, CaliLu, Jen and Kim Shoes, Amorroma Swimwear, Aloha Friday, and Sandbox Rebel were on site to bid farewell to their fashionable little pop-up shop. It was a great space for local indie designers to showcase their creations, but all good things must come to an end and for some of the designers the boutique opened up doors to other new and exciting opportunities. 

Saturday Fashion Fun

The Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce will host the Buy Local Expo from noon – 5 p.m. Over 80 local merchants will be participating and the event will also feature free samples, demonstrations, and tastings from local restaurants.  Icis Living and Fashion Hope joined forces to put together an evening of fashion, dancing, and fun to benefit The Abolish Slavery Coalition, which works to prevent the spread of modern-day slavery, establishes task forces to rescue victims and assist them on the road to recovery.

The other day I attended the grand opening party for the pop-up shops at ICIS Living. ICIS Living is a luxury apartment complex aimed at bringing high-style living to Glendale. Dubbed The Collection at ICIS: A Fusion of Fashion, Art, and Fun, the showroom features the works of a number of talented artists and designers.
