Manuelle Scarves Kickstarter Campaign

We here at BiteMe! M+F are huge fans of Manuelle Scarves. The line features an exquisite collection of digitally printed photo scarves made from 100% Modal and Silk. Founder Manny Sanchez started the company as a creative outlet to express his passion for photography and fashion. The images on the scarves range from a series of photographs taken in Europe, New York, California, and Havana, Cuba and can be found in select boutiques and museums. Manny is looking to expand his business via an increased presence at trade shows. In order to do this he needs to raise $6,000 by April 18th. Help Manny reach his goal and pledge what you can to his Kickstarter campaign. If you pledge $40 you’ll receive one of his beautiful creations from the New York series. Click here to donate. – NIN

Fashion Friday Feature: Manuelle Scarves

With endless passion and talent Manny Sanchez has set to change the way we think about scarves. Inspired by the sights of New York City his patterns are bold, brave, and most of all beautiful. ManuelleScarves are so versatile and unique. They’ll transform an ordinary look into something extraordinary. A bold imaginative scarf will give your look an unforgettable finish while an oversized scarf can serve as an elegant cover-up. No matter what your need Manuelle Scarves are the perfect wardrobe accessory.

BM: Behind every great name is a story. What is the story behind Manuelle Scarves?

MS: I named the scarf line after my grandmother Manuella. She lived most of her life in West New York and loved her square silk scarves. My father’s name is Manuel and my name is Manuel so I simply changed the last letter of my Grandmother’s name from A to E and added an L to give the name a more uniform and unisex appeal.

Complimentary cocktails will be served and there will also be special musical performances by So Brown and Ernie Vega. Stop by the boutique between 6 pm – 10 pm and browse through the vast selection of make-up, artwork, clothes, and accessories from local artists and designers. This is your chance to get some serious holiday shopping done. Make sure you check out the digitally printed scarves by Manuelle Scarves. Somehow designer Manny Sanchez managed to turn a simple scarf into a visually stunning work of art. You'll want to pick up a few because scarves are the next big trend on the horizon and these, my friend, are sure to impress.
