I had the pleasure of meeting the lovely Lauren Mayhew at Emand Co’s Pop-Up event featuring new pieces from the LisaMichelle collection. While many may recognize Lauren from TV (Guiding Light) or the big screen (American Pie Presents Band Camp) few probably know that she’s also a talented singer (AKA Mayhem). Lauren informed me that her group Rock Candy (also featuring Alli Davis and Marissa Lauren) would be performing this Saturday, September 24th, at the Rolling Stone Restaurant located at Hollywood and Highland. If you’re looking for a little burlesque mixed with some uptempo dance grooves and a bit of rock ‘n’roll sass I suggest you check these ladies out. Word on the street is that this show is hot, so get there by 10:00 p.m. to secure a good seat. - NIN
