When I first met Alan McCune and Enrique Godoy Ynzenga (the duo behind Skinny Executives) I knew they were something special. Not only that, but the services their company offers are truly unique. Although they hail from two different backgrounds, together the striking duo are the perfect pair and the combination of their talents is what allows Skinny Executives to be a one stop shop for all your fashion, travel, domestic, and event planning needs.

I always enjoy catching up with Alan and Enrique and am always impressed with how much they accomplish in a single day. So, when I heard that Alan was writing a book I wasn’t surprised (even though I was).

LA Fashion Weekend FW13 Presentations

The Fall/Winter LA Fashion Week events always occur during my birthday week. This year I was incredibly happy to have the opportunity to spend my actual birthday at my overall favorite event - LA Fashion Weekend. There is always such a great energy and vibe at The Gallery LA shows and even though no one knew it was my birthday I could still feel the love – from my two favorite security guards, to the staff, to all my LA Fashion Weekend friends that I re-connect with each season and, of course, from Ms. Mikey Koffman herself.

LAFW SS2013 Wrap Party

The delightful Mikey Koffman and her wonderful crew at The Gallery LA were kind enough to host a wrap party as a “Thank you” to all the sponsors, designers, and fashionable guests who attended LA Fashion Weekend’s SS2013 showcase.

The event was held in the patio area at the Xen Lounge in Studio City. Between the tarp and the killer tunes you wouldn’t have known it was raining outside. The lovely make-up artists from Napoleon Perdis were on site to apply touch-ups for anyone that wanted to enhance their look for the evening. I was happy to see that one of the gals was also a part of the Beats For Boobs make-up team. We discussed how a make-up artist is an artist. Your face is their canvas, and they can transform you into something beautiful or hideous - in the case of special effects make-up, which my sister, Rose Lopez, specializes in.
