F.B.I.’s 6th annual fund raiser/fashion show returned to Union Station. This year’s theme was “We Are One In Union.” A very stylish crowd gathered in the courtyard for a pre-show reception that included appetizers from Fiesta Fast Food, drinks courtesy of Tito’s Vodka, La Croix, and Monster Energy.
Ginny Cosmetics provided wine and samples of their fabulous Lash of Luv mascara.
Palm Free Sunwear was on site to demonstrate their line of SunGloves and HalfSleeves, which are made from UPF50 fabric to protect the back of your hands and forearms from intense and chronic sun exposure.
David Ono (ABC 7 News) hosted the fabulous event, which included presentations by Rails, Godz and Goddezzes, Alexis Monsanto, Adam Mar, Angelino, Stellan and Wylde, Koma-Va, Assisi Workout Wear, and Punchline Apparel.
Every year, Moss Adams recognizes the achievements of one hard working designer by presenting them with the Moss Adams Fashion Innovator Award. This year’s recipient was Jeff Abrams, designer of Rails. Established in 2008 and known for its widely popular plaid shirts, Rails has expanded to include leather, denim, cashmere knits, and silks for women and men in addition to a children’s line called “Little Rails.”
Overall, the event was a success on many levels. Guests had the opportunity to view new collections from F.B.I’s new and emerging member designers. Funds were raised to help support the fashion community and provide assistance with education and retraining programs for displaced apparel industry workers.
