Go Green And Recycle Your Jeans

Fresh Produce wants you to Bring in Your Blues during the month of January. The store has partnered with Blue Jeans Go Green™ in an effort to collect as many pairs of unwanted denim so your old jeans can be recycled into insulation for people’s homes. The denim is recycled into Ultra Touch™ Denim Insulation and a portion of it (approximately 250,000 square feet) is distributed to help communities in need each year. (Historically, homes built by Habitat for Humanity affiliates have been the primary recipients of the insulation.) To date, the efforts of the Blue Jeans Go Green™ denim recycling program have diverted over 600 tons of waste from landfills. So, start the New Year off by doing something good and take your unwanted blues—denim shirts, pants, purses, jackets, and more—to a Fresh Produce store before January 31st. In return they’ll give you 15% off a pair of KUT Jeans. – NIN
