Madeline Veenstra (founder of WikiFashion) just launched her latest project – Popbasic. Popbasic offers a selection of micro-collections that can be ordered monthly. The first collection was designed by Madeline and features a polka dot blouse and two necklaces for $65. The package also includes a gift from Tatcha Cosmetics and Dear Kate lingerie and shipping is free worldwide.
Unlike most subscription services, Popbasic doesn’t lock customers into recurring purchases. The idea is to offer micro-collections that can be purchased as a set; thus, allowing you to acquire pieces that can be easily incorporated into your existing wardrobe. (The site also features a handy style guide.) Madeline also hopes to introduce customers to beauty brands that they have yet to discover. The next two collections are currently in production and a loyalty program and credit system are also in the works. Be sure to sign up today so you don’t miss out. – NIN
