Calleen Cordero Madison Trunk Show

On Saturday August 25^th Madison Fred Segal (Santa Monica) launched an in-store collaboration with luxury footwear designer Calleen Cordero. The focus of the trunk show was on the Fall 2012 collection of shoes, handbags, and accessories.

My first introduction to Calleen Cordero was at the grand opening of Sandast’s retail location in Downtown LA. Calleen was wearing some stunning shoes that I fell in love with. I asked her where she got her fabulous heels and she said, “I designed them.”

Of course she had on another awesome pair at the party.

Having mastered an old world artisan technique, Calleen handcrafts high quality footwear, handbags, and accessories. She takes pride in her work and her pieces are beautiful, comfortable, and luxurious, which is why they fit perfectly with Madison’s aesthetic. People shop at Madison because they know the retailer carries a timelessly chic collection of high end shoes and apparel.

Aside from the pleasure of trying on and purchasing an exquisite pair of shoes guests also enjoyed champagne, appetizers, and cool tunes.
