For the past 13 years Macy’s Glamorama! has been bringing people together in order to raise money to fight against childhood illness, cancer, and HIV/AIDS. This year’s theme is ARTrageous, which is quite fitting for an event that combines haute fashion, hot music, cool celebrities, and innovative technology all in a theatrical format.
Taking place at the historic Orpheum Theatre on September 23rd this spectacular fundraiser will be hosted by Pauley Perrette and will feature performances by Cee Lo Green and Far East Movement, in addition to appearances by Magic Johnson, Sharon Stone, and a well-deserved tribute to ElizabethTaylor. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Macy’s event without a fashion show. The latest looks from Armani Jeans, Bar III, Calvin Klein, Karl Lagerfeld for Impulse, Papi, Tommy Hilfiger, Tracy Reese, and more will be gracing the runway. The evening will conclude with an ARTlandish after party at CalMart, which promises to be grand.
