Revigor Gives Old Clothes New Life

I love attending events in downtown L.A. because they are usually held in an old historic building with fabulous architecture and décor. Revigor’s launch party was held in Coco Conn’s beautiful loft located at the Orpheum lofts. While walking through the stark white hallways I felt like I was attending a swanky party in Manhattan. The apartment was cozy and decorated with fabulous treasures from all over the world. That Coco has good taste. It was the perfect location for Revigor’s debut. Guests sipped on ORO Pisco Cocktails and nibbled TCHO chocolate while conversing on the couch and mingling in the cozy abode.

Co-founder Amy Critchett showed us some of her transformations, which included a vintage inspired Wrap dress, scarves, handbags, (one of which was made from the softest lambskin leather) and Kimono’s. We really enjoyed hearing Amy’s story behind each piece - what era it was from, where it had been, how it was acquired, what memories it held, and what inspired its new transformation. It was all quite fascinating.

Amy founded Revigor with Charlene Bar. Together, with the aid of Rebecca Porteous, they have created a unique fashion design company that transforms out-of-circulation clothing into a unique, one-of-a-kind creation.
