I like pretty things and things out of the ordinary. I try to create garments with just enough alternative edge while still maintaining a glamorous feel. I love celebrating the art aspect of fashion. My influences come from everywhere. I can't even pin-point it. All I know is that design ideas just pop up randomly in my head.
What has being a designer taught you?
The fundamentals of course, but mostly those real-life lessons that you can only learn through experience. It definitely taught me how people in this industry work, but the most important thing it taught me is TRUE LOVE and to never ever let go of my original visions and design aesthetic no matter what people say about it.
What was the inspiration for this collection?
Fantasy…to celebrate all things make-believe...Alice in Wonderland.
Can you tell me a bit about the fabrics you used?
I am always huge on velvets so there was no doubt in including those for this collection, but I also started using Italian silks. The whole collection ranges from cotton knits, satin, organza, velvet, silk, and lace.
Who are your style icons?
Anyone and EVERYONE not afraid to be a little different.
How do you feel art, fashion, and music influence each other?
They are all motives of self and inner expression. True fashion isn't fashion without art and music wouldn't be as visually appealing without fashion. They all need each other.
Where can people purchase your designs?
