Jack of None is an experimental rock band comprised of the Syjuco siblings. Maxine’s lyrics are mainly delivered via spoken word over a backdrop of electronic embellishments. Artistic in nature, the ten tracks that make up the group’s latest release, Who Shot Bukowski, fuse together elements of electro, garage rock, blues, and new wave. Maxine’s voice is mesmerizing and it bodes well with the multiplicity of the band’s experimental sound. There is a lot to discover here.
