Randy McLaughlin of JERAN Designs

Randy McLaughlin and Jerry Skeels were the founders of JERAN Designs. In the 80’s and 90’s JERAN Design was a leader in fashion creating costumes and gowns for motion pictures, stage, and television. Their impeccable taste and flawless construction soon gained them a loyal celebrity following. Throughout their career Randy and Jerry received two EMMY nominations for best design and have also received numerous awards including the United Nations International Spirit Award and The Golden Needle Award for inspiring emerging designers to use fashion and their craft for the good of the world. Perhaps their greatest achievement was the creation of The Hollywood Graffiti Gown – a philanthropic project for AIDS fundraising. This stunning floor-length German-velvet couture gown, which features over 350 hand-beaded signatures from Hollywood’s leading ladies, has garnered international acclaim for its role in raising awareness for people living with AIDS and HIV.
