Metropolitan Fashion Week held its 5th Annual Gala this past Thursday October 5th at the Arcadia Performing Arts Center. The event honored outstanding achievements in fashion and costume design in motion pictures, television, and live performance.
In addition to the awards ceremony, the Gala showcased a unique, exclusive runway show featuring over 150 one-of-a-kind avant-garde costumes and couture evening gowns inspired by artwork from the Getty and created by national and international celebrity costume and fashion designers.

The event also raised funds to purchase school supplies for schools affected by the natural disasters in Texas, Florida, Puerto Rico, and Mexico.
