Emblem Showroom/Media Playground AW15 Collection Preview

Emblem Showroom and Media Playground invited bloggers, stylists, and buyers to Station Hollywood at the W Hollywood for a preview of their clients’ AW15 Collections. The fashionable event was sponsored by Charles David, Rock Me Cosmetics, Ashley Michaelsen, and Pedi Princess.

Even though it was February it was a beautiful, warm evening in Los Angeles - perfect for sipping complementary cocktails (courtesy of Belvedere) under the stars.

Before the preview started I had the opportunity to chat with the rep for Exofab. Exofab is a leading developer and manufacturer of specially designed cases for smart phones. Their latest is a gel guard case that will stick to a flat, nonporous surface (mirror, window, glass…), which makes it easier to take the perfect selfie. It also comes with a QR code that you can use to download the Exofab camera timer selfie app. It truly is a selfie addict’s dream come true!

I also got to check out the beautiful creations from Natasha Morse jewelry. What started out as a hobby for Natasha quickly turned into a passion. Inspired by the metaphysical properties and healing energies of gemstones, her distinctive necklaces and bracelets are intricately-detailed and crafted out of the highest-quality semi-precious stones, crystals, and gold-plated flat wire. These “stand-out” pieces are gorgeous and can be worn anytime, anywhere.

The first installation of the evening was by Ashley Michaelsen. Being a petite gal, Ashley (actress/model/designer) creates flirty dresses that are flattering to the proportions of a diminutive hour glass figure. Her design aesthetic can be described as New York chic meets Hollywood glam with a touch of sass and perfection.

Next up was Inder Dhillion – a Canadian born designer who now calls Australia home. This contemporary womenswear line featured pieces that were sporty mixed with city chic.
