On Thursday November 17,, 2011 RAW Natural Born Artists will hold their 2011 Semi Final Showcase in Hollywood and Los Angeles. Attendees of the event will have the opportunity to vote for one artist in each of nine categories in the fields of film, fashion, music, visual arts, performance art, hair styling, makeup artistry, accessories, and photography. The winners will be announced at the end of the evening.
In case you are not familiar with RAW it is an independent arts organization with a focus on helping young artists develop careers in the fields of art and entertainment. RAW’s mission is to provide independent artists with the tools, resources, and exposure needed to inspire and cultivate creativity. Monthly events are held to showcase each artist’s talent with the final event culminating in the RAW Annual Indie Awards Show, where winners will receive career boosting prizes like distribution, store placement, studio time, gallery placement, and consultations with industry executives and professionals. The Hollywood event will take place at The Playhouse and the Los Angeles show will be held at Elevate Lounge.
