1st Annual Two Point Oh! LA Snowball

Two Point Oh! LA held its first annual holiday Snowball in the Penthouse Ballroom of the Pacific Electric Lofts. Aside from a fabulous party the event raised $1000 for the Downtown Women’s Center

The open bar was courtesy of Chambord, Chambord Flavored Vodka, DRY Soda, Hansens Soda, and Barefoot Wine. I had been searching for the Chambord Flavored Vodka and finally found it at my local BevMo a week before this party. It is definitely worth seeking out. It’s great mixed with a flavored soda, add it to champagne, or just enjoy it on the rocks.
We enjoyed yummy cupcakes from My Delight Cupcakery and other snacks all of which were easily worked off thanks to the great tunes provided by HM Sound System.

There were plenty of things to do besides dancing. Kristen Turner of Be Vain Glorious or DIY Trying hosted a DIY Lounge in which guests could make their own fantastic accessories. The lounge was sponsored by Forever 21 and International Silks and Woolens. It looked like a lot of fun. However, since I got an “F” in art class I opted out because I knew if I tried to make a cuff or headband I’d end up gluing my fingers to my dress.

Bren Lee Gomez of So Much Pretty created a Beauty Lounge where guests were able to get their hair styled by stylist Vanessa Ortega. A lucky few even scored gift bags featuring products from Vans Girls, Sultra Beauty, OPI, China Glaze, Visine, Footpetals, and more. Thankfully, I was one of the lucky ones. All the swag came in really cool handbags or totes courtesy of Vans.

Since this was a holiday party for fashion bloggers everyone was dressed to impress. I wore a Zac Posen cocktail dress accentuated by a lovely necklace and cuff from LisaMichelle.

Tiara Henry also wore a beautiful dress from the LisaMichelle collection. (Don't forget you can get 15% off  LisaMichelle clothing and accessories until Dec 31st with coupon code HappyHolidays.)

Heather Petry designed something fabulous that made her look like the Queen of Winter Wonderland. Honestly, I could see a bride wearing her dress. It was stunning. Fellow bloggers Marie Denee and Thembi Ford were equally adorable.

Attendees commemorated the evening by taking pictures in a photo room hosted by SeamRipper. There was also a raffle, which benefited the Downtown Women’s Center, and featured prizes from Rent the Runway, Pro Silk, Rocket Dog, Korres, Make Up Forever, and Blush Boutique.

I’m not sure who won the raffle but guests did receive an awesome gift bag designed exclusively for the event by either Tminx or Seam Ripper filled with goodies from: XCVI, Tara Stiles Yoga, Jane Cosmetics, Crossroads Trading Company, ModclothRedkenCarolina Pad, Stila, Bookswim, Brighton Shave CompanySex, Life and Hannah, and OPI.

Blooming Designs provided some stunning floral arrangements and the Two Point Oh! LA events team, Kristen Turner, Tiara Henry, Bren Lee Gomez and, Two Point Oh! LA founder and President, Kelsi Smith did a fabulous job of putting this event together. I’m already looking forward to next year’s party.
